Dear Crayolian,
Every September we conduct our annual United Way campaign to show our community that Crayola cares. For those of you who have been with Crayola, thank you for continually showing your dedication to our community. If this is your first Crayola United Way campaign, I encourage you to get involved in all the fundraising activities - they are sure to tap into your competitive spirit and warm your heart!
As a member of the local United Way board, I have seen how United Way identifies problems in our community and focuses donations on the most critical needs. They establish programs with proven non-profit partners and create solutions so people in our community can have an opportunity at a better life.
The impact goals of Education, Healthy Aging, Mental Health, Emergency Services, and Community Stability help United Way focus their investments to eliminate the underlying problems. By investing in programs that will provide measurable results through United Way we will make a greater impact on our community. Many people continue to struggle to maintain stable and affordable housing, access to food, and enough money for basic needs to raise their families or have quality of life during retirement.
Charitable giving is certainly a personal choice. Please consider making a new pledge or increasing your current level of giving to help us reach our goal. Crayola’s campaign goal is $355,000 and we need all employees to help us reach our goal. Every gift counts no matter the amount. Whether you work at Crayola in the Lehigh Valley, or in other parts of the country, United Way is helping people in your community. For those that do not work at a Lehigh Valley facility, your contribution can be designated to the United Way in your work region. Your investment is in your home community.
Thank you for your past participation and thank you in advance for your contributions to Crayola’s 2024 United Way campaign. Together we can improve lives and strengthen our community. Let’s live united!
Sincerely,
Pete Ruggiero President & CEO Crayola LLC
